How to Play Mahjong Solitaire
Mahjong Solitaire is a tile matching puzzle. The board starts with paired Mahjong-inspired tiles. Choose two identical free tiles to remove them from the board. A tile is free when no tile covers it and at least one horizontal side is open.
This first version uses a smaller 76-tile layered layout so the game is fast to learn on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Most Mahjong tile faces match exactly; flower tiles can match other flowers, and season tiles can match other seasons.
Tile Symbols
The MVP board uses Mahjong tile faces for Bamboo, Dot, Character, Wind, Dragon, Flower, and Season tiles. Later versions can add richer tile art while keeping the same matching rules.
